Canteen Evaluation

Canteen Evaluation

Attention Fleet Managers:
Our experience with the Autoventions GasMaxx and DieselMaxx was better than our expectations. We tried the product based on our long term relationship with the sales rep, Rick Bofinger. Rick said based on similar fleet testing, we should realize 5% to 10% improvement in fuel economy, reduced emissions and better engine performance.
The initial testing was conducted on 8 vehicles. These vehicles were chosen because of consistency of available data. Most of these vehicles run the same route, normally have the same load weight, and use the same driver. The test was conducted over a 4 month period (after GasMaxx installation) from October 1, 2015 through January 30, 2016. The base line (before GasMaxx installation) period was July 1 through September 30th 2016.
The testing data shows that the vehicles tested had an overall increase of 10.1% in fuel economy.
The average cost for fuel for the 7 months was $2.97. The Sacramento branch will save $2100.00 per month in fuel costs. $25,200 per year. The return on investment is less than 8 months. To ensure the data was consistent in its findings, 4 random vehicles in the fleet were analyzed during the same period, (No Device Installed) and the fuel consumption variation was 1%.
In conclusion, we find the GasMaxx and DieselMaxx product to be well worth the investment having a simple very short payback as well as a positive impact on emissions tests and vehicle performance.
Sincerely, Ken Legault Canteen Sacramento
